Specifying and building your ideal frameset is only the beginning of your journey to the perfect bicycle. We have detailed experience of all the popular ranges of equipment to build the complete machine suitable for any branch of cycling.

Here are several examples which illustrate the wide range of bicycles built by us. The first two are touring and racing bikes respectively.

Both are based on framesets recently produced by us.

We also stock a range of ready built touring/Audax frames in a range of standard sizes but with colour choice. These can also be supplied as complete bikes with a wide choice of equipment.

Custom Built Tourer

Fancy Head Lugs         Fancy Seat Lug       Rear Disc Brake      Front Disc Brake

(Click on title box to see large picture)

This is a heavy duty touring bike recently built using Columbus Thron tubes. The bicycle includes several novel features, including retro look ornate fancy lugs and front and rear disc brakes. The advantage of disc brakes, apart from their excellent stopping power is that large panniers can be fitted without interfering with the brakes.  The top head lug incorporates a built in 25mm extension . This helps to give the more upright seating position often preferred  by tourists.

Typical equipment to complete this bike includes:- Shimano Deore groupset including Disc brakes, Expedition panniers, Mavic A719 rims with Stainless steel spokes, Continental TT tyres, Volaire anatomical saddle, Stronglight sealed AHeadset.

The frame in this example costs from £650.00. Complete bike from £1200.00

 Custom Built Racer

This is an example of a recently built racing bicycle based on a Columbus Zona elliptical tubed frameset with a Columbus Muscle carbon rear triangle. The frame also includes an integrated headset suitable for a 1⅛ inch steering column.

This can be seen in the photo on the right, as can the smooth lugless brazed joints.  This type of construction produces a frame with very smooth lines and an aesthetically pleasing appearance,  and is particularly useful in situations where lugs are not available such as on tandems and low profile frames based on modern elliptical shaped tube profiles.

The frame illustrated with full carbon forks and rear triangle costs £850.00

Complete bikes start from £1250.00
